Materials needed: A box of colourful paper clips, points recording slip Introduction: This activity allows students to analyse the number of coloured paper clips and decide if he / she thinks that it is logical to have such quantity in hand. Instructions: All students sit in a circle, teachers go round and let each student grabs a proper handful of coloured paper clips. Students take a few minutes to count the number of colours they have in hand. All students take turn to say a statement (e.g. “I have (number) of (colour) paper clips”) and let the remaining students to decide if he said belongs to a fact or not. If any student(s) does / do believe, he / she can request the student to show. If he / she shows the correct quantity and colour, the student is awarded with 1 point.
